Haceteria: C. Faith live, Nujack

Description

We went to see San Francisco local Chelsea “C. Faith” at her Pulse Generator party a few months ago and were immediately impressed with the table full of floor shaking gear, both analog and digital. With the TB-303 clone x0x0x box in overdrive, the acid house sound was heavy, capturing the halcyon days of rave with a bit of a modern filtered synth pad twist. Chelsea has been churning out originals for a long while now, developing her sound to a finely tuned stream of heavy hitting punches. Unheard at the time was another side of Ms. Faith, which ventures deeply and lushly into the alleyways of vintage Detroit, jacking your body and taking your mind to a futuristic never-was rewind. When C. Faith isn’t conjuring up the Second Summer of Love, she’s also busy in the studio working on her Italo Disco group Easystreet next big arpeggiated lush euro-synth jam. On top of that, C. Faith is busy consistently releasing quality projects on the Nude Faith Music label.
