The 10th annual event, Guelaguetza San Jose "Fiesta Oaxaquena" a historic celebration that will be woven on to the minds and hearts of the all ages audience.Presenting
Live band Music
Folklore Oaxaqueno; traditional dances
Oaxacan cuisine: Traditional food mole, tamales, tlayudas, grasshoppers and more
Mezcal tasting: Mezcaleros from the different regions presenting their unique product.
Artisanal market: statewide artisanal crafts such as prehispanic-style textiles, traditional costumes (trajes), toys and more
For our children’s: Clowns, Jumpers, face painting and more
Live performance from local talent Rafael Turincion and Alma Navarro
The event starts at 11 with a parade complete with indigenous walking bands and dancers.
Don't forget our Food and Merchandise Vendors have been hand selected to showcase some of our Popular Oaxacan food.
