Description
Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Grimble Grumble take a bow from the likes of My Bloody Valentine and the Spaceman 3 upon their 1995 formation. With only a year under their belt, the band started churned out the releases with the EPs Second Mind and Odyssey and Oracle both released on Enraptured Records. In 1997, following their first self-titled album on Wont Go Flat Records, Grimble Grumble's official line up was settled in with Christine (bass/ voice), Mike (percussion), Saleem (guitar), Mike J. (guitar) and Ruben (guitar/ moog/ noise). After their "Fucked In The Head"/" Return" 7" in 1998 -thanks to Amberley Recordings- 1999 provided a busy studio year for the band with the albums UFOs and Visitations (Ochre Records), another self-titled full-length (on AudioInformation Phenomena), and ...I Once Had A Dream (Rocket Racer Records). ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
