• Buying local food is not the most effective way to combat global warming
• It’s not always best to just keep reusing products like refrigerators and cars
• Just turning off the lights is not the best way to conserve energy
• Hybrid cars are not always the best choice
• Consumers do not have to sacrifice comfort in order to reduce their emissions

What’s a well intentioned consumer to do? Don’t give up! Buying smart and clean is a challenge however there is increasing information available and new products that are better than before however imperfect. Join us for a conversation about how to go beyond feel-good gestures and make purchasing decisions that line up with facts.
