Description
Greater Sirens are a new wave/postpunk-influenced indie rock band formed in 2007 and based in San Francisco. On Friday, May 18th, the band will be hosting a CD release show at Roosters Roadhouse in Alameda for their brand new debut EP, For the Birds.For the Birds was recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley in early 2011. Jesse Nichols, who engineered the EP, describes Greater Sirens’ sound as “modern, sharp, indie rock that’s not afraid of the ‘80s.”
Also playing are A Farewell Device and Maia & Beryl.
The show starts at 8 PM and is 21+
