Right Brain Performancelab is coming to The New Village School for one night only! The Performancelab has created another darkly comic theatrical vision with found images, sounds and true events that are stranger than fiction. “Gravity (and other large things.)” is a love letter to the strangely weak force that anchors people, beings and objects firmly on the earth and the contrary desire of human beings to leave the ground. The show is a blend of vaudevillian physical and movement theater, text, object manipulation, mime, clowning, vocal experimentation and songs that explore how justice, entropy, resilience and fifty-two-pickup interact when thrown into the air and examined closely. All proceeds go to benefit The New Village School.

About The New Village School

The New Village School is a K-8 school located in Sausalito founded in 2008 which provides Waldorf-inspired sustainable education led by visionary educator Meinir Davies, and NVS’s talented teaching team. About Right Brain Performancelab

Right Brain Performancelab is a company that explores the paradoxes of existence by way of metaphor. Their performances are darkly comic, edgy and vaudevillian. The Performancelab began in San Francisco in 1999 as a collaboration between John Baumann and Jennifer Gwirtz who intersected their work in theater, dance, music, puppetry, philosophy, performance art and videography to create a hybrid, minimal style of performance that is accessible, simple and rich.
