Golden Gate Opera All That Jazz! Holiday Aria Party

Golden Gate Opera and All that Jazz! is happening on Sunday December 27, from 3pm to Sunset at a private residence in Tiburon.

This is a special event is brought to you by Golden Gate Opera. We will be featuring Russian soprano Olga Chernisheva, recently returned from Cairo, Egypt where she performed as the leading lady in Puccini's Tosca, Tenor Vladimir Zagatsky performing popular songs from around the world, and Jazz pianist Leslie Harlib will entertain you with favorite musicals and lead a sing-a-long!

Ms. Chernisheva will be performing selections from Aida, La Traviata, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Manon Lescaut. The Bolshoi trained soprano has performed leading soprano roles in regional opera companies across the United States and in theatres Russia, China, and other countries around the world. Pianist Galina Umanskaya will accompany Ms. Chernisheva.

This is a fundraiser, special event, and concert for Golden Gate Opera's 2010-2011 opera season. Proceeds are for Operational Support, Outreach to Schools, and the cost of productions. Help GGO achieve a Matching Challenge grant from the California Arts Council for an up-coming production. Hors d’oeuvres provided by Michelle and Richard Ruff with wines provided by Lovers’ Vineyard.
