Jesse is influenced by the weather, the news, the sound of children laughing, airline discount fares, hormones, the passing of James Brown, the literature of jazz, oddball effects pedals, music written by my friends, cheese, intoxicants of various ilks, fire, beautiful words no matter where they might be found, time travel, worn guitar picks, all manner of keyboard instruments, darkness, and people who really listen.Genna is influenced by the music of Elvis Costello and Joni Mitchell as well as many many others. She is also inspired by high art, low art, food and eating it, reading, crossword puzzles, movies, secrets, the poetry of ee cummings, Mary Oliver and Pablo Neruda, being with friends and loved ones, nerds, weirdos, children, camping, San Francisco, travel, sunshine, laughing, porch swings, thunderstorms, tattoos, loving and being loved...
Genna and Jesse are also super inspired by each other.
