Going Global: Team US and Mexico

Description

In response to the growing demand by small and emerging companies to support their growth with many sourcing options, Vangtel and Accelper Consulting are presenting a conversation about Going Global: Team US and Mexico. The event will be hosted at The Consulate General of Mexico in San Jose on Thursday, July 26th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. They will examine how Innovation and Entrepreneurship are working hand-in-hand as the US and Mexico team up and capitalize on the benefits of the Global Economy.

Larry Carlson, Marketing Manager for Vangtel, will examine how innovation has created new sourcing opportunities that otherwise would not be available to entrepreneurs that need to protect Intellectual Property. Attendees will learn why traditional outsourcing may be obsolete and how finding the right talent at reduced cost is your competitive advantage. Vangtel, a member company of The Offshore Group, provides an innovative sourcing solution referred to as a shelter program.

Larry explains…Vangtel provides clients large and small with an easy way to establish a near shore operation in Mexico. Clients select the bi-lingual talent they need to support their software development, call center/tech support or back office functions at about half the cost of a domestic operation – all with a US contract.

Professor Praveen Gupta, Principal at Accelper Consulting and the Director of Center for Innovation Science and Applications at IIT School of Applied Technology will explain why innovative companies in a down economy are in a better position to achieve greater profitability. Learn how and why Innovators and Entrepreneurs in the US and Mexico have teamed up to work together to create business opportunities.

Praveen believes we have to look at how we can innovatively enhance the capabilities of companies in the US and Mexico together to fulfill the global demand for new products and services.
