Onshore sewage & oil drilling rig exploits natural mechanical movement of crabs, humidity reader, infoboards, Flesh Scoop & then shunts Kirty Koins and DCP (Demonface Controller Punchcards).
Some gears can only be oiled with blood. As a lubricant it is unsurpassed for such machines. As contemporary mechanics moves forward the unexpected may happen. Sometimes the unexpected is a nightmare. As unstoppable as the evolution of tangled power lines and vast networks of underground pipe lines. The anthropodichanical organ-ism Scummerai Anonymously, business men made money and abandoned machines; machines didn't abandon us. From remote coastlines to city centers the pulse of the machine can be heard.

Kanoko Nishi
http://www.myspace.com/kanokonishi
Kanoko Nishi is an improviser currently based in SF/Bay Area, CA. Although her primary training is in classical piano performance, she is also interested in improvisational music making, both in a solo context and in collaborations with other artists. She has been exploring on the piano, as well as on her second instrument, koto (13, or 17-string Japanese zither), various extended techniques in addition to more traditional techniques, in order to widen the rage of vocabularies on each instrument and to enable them to adapt to different musical genres. Kanoko also enjoys collaborating with dancers, poets and visual artists to push the limits of her musical language and find ways to communicate with other forms of performance art. This is her last bay area show, possibly.
