The goal of Go BANG! is to bring the crews and their devoted dancers together in a mixed, diverse, exciting environment, with a nod to the diversity and freedom of the 70's/80's San Francisco/New York/Chicago disco nightlife!

Disco freaks, art school boys & girls, drag queens & kings, boogie-heads, fierce dancers, flashy dressers, sexy girls, hot boys, DJs, dancers, photographers, artists, fashionistas; gay/straight/bi/tri/whateva! Bring your flashiest, trashiest, classiest, sexiest, craziest style; but bring an open mind, big smile, and shoes that will allow you to dance from opening to last call! We will start with fire and end with fire!

Shawn’s been collecting records since he was 16 & mixing them since college. When he moved to Philadelphia in 2006, he co-founded Hurrah, a monthly party where he’s played alongside Mike Simonetti, Runaway’s Marcos Cabral, Young Edits & many other top-shelf DJs. Since then Shawn’s played across America, from San Francisco to DC to NYC. He’s developed an eclectic style over the years, ranging from house & disco to party rocking classics to beard stroker mystery cuts. Since 2007, Shawn has been posting Vinyl Rips, Obscurities, Classics, Dancing, Parties, Beard Stroking, Mixes, Hangovers, 12" Versions, Edits, Musings, Dubs, Remixes & Other Rhythms with love from Philadelphia. In 2010, Gazeebo International released a trio of his edits under the Joy Revision moniker. He has a diverse ear for music, and a distinct dancefloor-friendly DJing style that matches his fun-loving, music-loving spirit. Go BANG! is a big fan of his, following his blog religiously. Having started his musical journey way back in 1989, Tres Johnson has been producing and djing for over 20 years. His talents have taken him to cities such as St. Louis, Denver, San Francisco and most importantly Los Angeles. It was here at a club where Tres met local house heroes blair and marcus of the higher ground parties. After their chance meeting, Tres began a successful period of event promoting until he made his big move to Omaha. It was here that tres began his weekly lowercasesounds broadcasting show in 2004, playing an eclectic array of sounds that include deep house, ambient, downtempo,and jazz. since then, lowercasesounds has grown to include over 25 djs that are located all around the world. in 2009, with close friend and spiritual advisor dirwood, Tres created the lowercasesounds digital label which has seen eight successful releases, including one by dj raw sugar which has made the top five on juno records deep house chart. you can catch Tres playing his own blend of music every Sunday at 6pm cst on LowerCaseSounds.com!
