KSCU and Grand Fanali present a night commemorating girls that rock. Hosted at the Works Gallery in San Jose, attend a night that celebrates women in both music and art. The New Trust, from Santa Rosa, performs wholesome and up-beat independent rock. Joined by San Jose natives The Pillowfights, bringing quirky pop rock to the table, and Touch My Rash, an outspoken and powerful punk trio. Ashley Allred from Petaluma evens things out offering a relaxing folk with sugar sweet vocals. Meredith Edgar follows that up with her acoustic blend of jazzy alternative. Cameao offers mellow, ballad style indie rock and The First Move throws some steady drum and bass into the mix. Also featuring Dateless an excitable, powerpop group from Seattle.
