About the Film: America's Most Unwanted: Stories of Hope from Former Foster & Group Home Kids is a feature-length video project by Shani Heckman (Wrong Bathroom, 2005) that explores the rarely heard side of growing up in foster-care: strength, resilency and hopefullness.

Featuring local artists, educators and successful business people America's Most Unwanted (AMU) provides a much needed voice in the world of films exploring foster-care.
