Come hang out at Gavilan's first acoustic set! The show is free, all ages, and we'll have our brand new Gavilan shirts as well. Support your local music scene and treat your ears to some Bay Area rock!In case you don't know, Gavilan is a trio of brothers dishing bluesy grunge rock (or, as one fan put it, "swamp rock") with frequent comparisons to the likes of Nirvana and the Black Keys. Though bonded by brotherhood, their musical tastes as individuals couldn't be more different, and their sound is constantly being reinvented with every new song they write. Recently performing at the Hotel Utah (SF), Submission (SF), Brainwash Cafe (SF), and Oakland's Rockridge Out & About Festival, they're quickly gaining ground in the Bay Area music scene and looking to keep the performance momentum going! With an EP under their belt and a full-length album in the works, these guys are just getting started and can't wait to keep doing what they love.
