Description
This afternoon concert features works by Brahms, Debussy, Hovhaness, Mozart, Offenbach,Poulenc, Satie, Schubert, and Shostakovich. The American Recorder Orchestra of the West has a reputation for embarking on explorations and programs of music that one would not expect recorders to dare to play. In recent years AROW has performed German, French, English, Medieval, and Eastern European programs which have included both the formal and the folk sides of national musical traditions. AROW has played music that ranges through the history of Western Music. The show is free, however a $10 donation will be greatly appreciated.
