Bay Choral Guild, directed by Sanford Dole, presents French Choral Music with Organ and Piano.Maurice Duruflé’s transcendent Requiem highlights our exploration of French Choral music. We also feature works by Fauré, Boulanger, Saint-Saens and Debussy, all masters of the French choral tradition. From the glorious simplicity, elegance and subtlety of Fauré’s “Cantique de Jean Racine” to Lili Boulanger’s luminous “Hymne au Soleil” and Debussy’s expressive “Trois Chansons”, our program will transport and enchant you.
