Description

Jesse Perez:
In the words of Mike Tyson "If they pay me enough, I'll get in the ring with Jesse Perez". Legend tells it that Jesse was born in a rundown motel in Little Havana (A small latin neighborhood in Miami) minutes after being conceived. Son to a Local Pimp, (who is oddly 10 years older than Jesse) Jesse was exposed to the art of Slangin' D as a young boy. His mother who at that time was a stage dancer for a popular local rap group called the "2 Live Crew", would work many shows for these artist and would sneak Jesse in as often as she could. Jesse's first exposure to Bass Music and Ass Clapping made a huge impression on him.

15 years later, Jesse applied his childhood experiences towards the development of a new visionary company known as "Mr. Nice Guy Records" . Considered as one of Miami's most promising, and forward thinking companies since Bang Bros. Jesse has managed to not only run this company but also star in several successful "Mr. Nice Guy" films including "How To Name A Porno", "Slangin That D", "Tales From An 8th Street Motel" and "This Hoe Gonna Get Some Dick". Homeboy don't mess around, he means business.

Lisbona:

Both of these ladies were born in Atlantic City, NJ which explains a lot. Their father is a musician and was the Director of Entertainment at the Golden Nugget in AC's 80s hay day. They grew up around serious talent, even kicking it with the Rat Pack at early ages.

They moved to California before they were in New Jersey long enough to develop accents and became best friends early on. As kids, they made up many dance routines to Ace of Base's "The Sign" album and religiously listened to TLC's "Crazy Sexy Cool", even dressing like the group one year for Halloween. Between their mother and father, parents with a nearly 20-year age difference, they were exposed to a broad range of musical tastes.

Their musical style varies from dance floor to dance floor; house, disco, techno and sweet ass funk have been known to weave their ways in with little surprise visits from 80s pop/electro and 90s R&B. In only a couple years of DJing, they've played alongside some of the industry's finest, including Soul Clap, Mr. C, Crazy P, Climbers and Lee Foss.

Lisbona's party brand, Stretch Sunday, has taken the globe by storm with spandex-fueled antics since its founding in 2012. (Watch their video, and you will see why: http://www.youtube.com/watch)

These sisters are all love and fun--with just the slightest edge of sneaky shenanigans--always keeping their friends and audiences ready for MORE LISBONA!

Martin Aquino:

Originally hailing from Manila, Philippines and now firmly rooted in San Francisco, Martin Aquino is an exciting new name on the scene who is making waves with his underground, deep tech-house sound. It was in Manila, as a teenager, that Martin first encountered house music and developed his love for the genre. By the age of 17, Martin was regularly playing at renowned venues within the cities of Makati and Manila.

Martin soon found himself traveling back-and-forth between Manila and San Francisco. It was on the US west coast that he became familiar and fascinated with the bay area’s brand of deep house. Martin’s sound evolved to include this influence which he brought back to the Philippines through his in-demand DJ sets. Soon Martin made the plunge and relocated to San Francisco where he could play, produce, and thrive in the heart of its world famous dance music scene.

Martin’s obsession with the music and his sound naturally led to music production. Since 2011, he’s already recorded well-received singles for labels like Resopal Schallware, One Records, District Raw, Surface and Akbal Music. Martin’s production, while riding the border between house and techno, keeps a leg deep in the sound of the underground. He strives for music that is organic and eclectic while still rawly effective in the nightclub.
