The heavy stoner rock of Fu Manchu has been a staple in the music scene for almost 20 years. The seasoned band is on the road right now in support of their new album, Signs of Infinite Power, which drops Oct. 20. These So-Cal natives started out in the mid 80s as Virulence, a hardcore punk band mainly influenced by SSD, Black Flag and Blast. Even today, Fu Manchu still draws from the early days while melding their sound with the thickness of 70s rock. Visualize a sea of hair, all head-banging in unison.
