Front Country is a Bay Area based bluegrass band grown out of the local social jam scene. Featuring improvisation-driven original instrumental music and inspired songs, Front Country is developing a unique sound that draws liberally from Newgrass and Old-time influences. Members include Jordan Klein (Belle Monroe and her Brewglass Boys), Leif Karlstrom (The Heel Draggers, Midnight Gamblers), Melody Walker (Walker/Groupman duo), Jacob Groupman (The Real Nasty, Albino!, Walker/Groupman duo), Adam Roszkiewicz (Whisky Richards, Midnight Gamblers), and Zach Sharpe.
