The Gallery at Cavallo Point Lodge is pleased to present From Kehoe to Cavallo- the mystery in the mess, a suite of archival pigment prints by Judith Selby Lang and Richard Lang.

As a collaborative team, the Lang’s combine their love of the natural world with an interest in science to produce an ongoing series of art works about the oceans and the environment. Since 1999 they have been collecting and creating with plastic debris from Kehoe Beach. In 2008 they were commissioned to create a series of prints for guest rooms at the Cavallo Point Lodge, as part of a larger contemporary photography program on view throughout the entire property.

Their abstract and whimsical arrangements of detritus serve to focus attention on the quantity of plastic washing up on our local beaches and by extrapolation beaches all across the planet.
This exhibit is organized by Anne Veh, curator, Cavallo Point Lodge Art Program.
A portion of each sale will be donated to Plastic Pollution Coalition a non-profit group dedicated to stopping plastic pollution and its toxic impacts on humans, the environment, and wildlife worldwide. http://plasticpollutioncoalition.org
