Description
Acclaimed Ragazzi Boys Chorus presents "From East to West," a spring concert series that takes audience members on a cross-cultural, global tour. The program showcases enchanting musical traditions of less familiar cultures, including selections from Korean music arranged by Chen Yi, as well as pieces from the Cherokee Nation, Europe, China, Japan, India, and more. Through this international program, the boys will highlight the commonalities that make great music accessible to all.Sung by Ragazzi’s Concert Group and Choral Scholars, this concert also includes classics from the Western tradition. Audience members may also recognize the hymn "Amazing Grace," and familiar folk songs such as "Jasmine Flower Song."
