Description

Overview
Since the term pique-nique (picnic) traces back to 1692 France, it seems appropriate that you spend Bastille Day learning popular French recipes to take outdoors.

In this hands-on workshop, our expert chef-instructors will guide you through a variety of great recipes including the delectable salade Niçoise, popular in the French Riviera and far beyond. You’ll make pan Bagnat, a delicious little-known Provençal sandwich. For dessert, learn to make the revered strawberry tart, a staple in French pastry shops. Finally, a pique-nique isn’t complete without a baguette. Learn how to shape and bake this delectable symbol of French culture.

After class, move to The International Culinary Center's garden terrace (weather permitting) where you can enjoy your creations with a glass of wine.
