It’s 2008 and Coolio is playing the Shark Tank? Really? Well, with Beverly Hills 90210 back on the tube and the flannel shirt becoming a wardrobe staple again, I guess the ‘90s have officially returned in all their tapered-jeaned and bustiered glory. Just look at Coolio, he’s still keeping it real. The man who brought the “streets” to white middle class America with such mega hits as “Gangster’s Paradise,” and “Rollin’ With My Homies,” Coolio may be in his mid-’40s, but he’s still carrying his crazy braided torch. Compton-born Coolio is taking a break out of his busy schedule, which includes an online culinary show “Cookin’ with Coolio,” to bring his “Fantastic Voyage” to the stage once again. Joining Coolio at the Freestyle Old School Explosion are Treach and VinRock of Naughty By Nature (you know, “O.P.P.” and “Hip-Hop Hooray,”) and 1980s freestylers Lisa Lisa, Klymaxx and Timex Social Club.
