Description
Mission Scientist for NASA's Kepler Project, Dr. Natalie Batalha, will give a lecture at Foothill College for the Silicon Valley Astronomy Lectures series. The event will be located in the Smithwick Theater.Dr. Batalha will discuss how the Kepler team used techniques to identify planets surrounding close stars. She will also discuss what the team has already discovered and what they are currently working on.
The event is free and campus parking is only $3.
