"Trees and Our Watershed" Presentations

Nonprofit Our City Forest is offering a new in-class presentation for students grades K-5. The "Trees and Our Watershed" lesson teaches the importance of trees in protecting the health of local watersheds and encourages water conservation.

- Available to all Santa Clara County schools & youth programs
- In class or assembly presentations
- Offered through June 2010
- No cost to schools / youth programs
- English, Spanish and Vietnamese

Presentations utilize an interactive watershed model and include age-appropriate activities, displays and worksheets. The lesson is funded in part by a grant from the City of San José Environmental Services Department.
