Description
This free workshop for aspiring DJs and Producers will include a hands on look into Ableton Live and Reason 6, the latest release from Swedish company, Propellerhead Software. Every week you can sign up for a free trial introductory workshop held at the Mission Cultural Center on 25th and Mission. The workshop also focuses on producing and DJing in a collaborative setting with the help of a custom rig syncing 5 laptops together over a wireless network.The workshops take place on Mondays or Thursdays (please sign up at the link below before dropping by) at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts in the Mission and covers the use of audio recording software including sequencing, MIDI, synthesizer and drum programming, remixing, warping audio, sampling, equalization, compression, delay, reverb, song structure, mixing, and much more.
No prior experience required and all ages are welcome to join the class at anytime, so don’t worry if you didn’t make it to the first one.
