Description
San Francisco based electronic music promoters MalLabel Music and Hellefante have teamed up to create what is sure to be a legendary festival in the remote town of Belden Town, California this summer. The first annual Fractalize Festival will include a weekend of live music, DJs, vending and camping, with a wide array of headliner talent including Bay Area Rap Legend E-40, Rocker-T and Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi, plus some very special guests. This event has been in the making for many years as both MalLabel and Hellefante’s goal is to promote next level music in creative non-traditional event environments. Leading the bass music scene in the Bay Area over the past few years, MalLabel hosts’ large-scale underground events with some of the biggest names in bass. Since early 2009, Hellefante has been serving the Bay Area with Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Grime, UK Funky to Garage, presenting some of the most respected producers and performers of our time. The venue for this event is a new frontier for these two powerhouse production companies to transcend experiences they have co-created in the past. Belden Town Resort and Lodge is located “In the heart of the River Canyon” on the beautiful scenic byway of Highway 70, twenty-eight miles east of historical Quincy, California. The Lodge offers a great restaurant, where you may eat inside or out on our deck that overlooks the Feather River in all its natural beauty and sounds, along with a view of the amazing wildlife for extra entertainment. Two stages will be placed on opposite sides of the venue to allow for both a large-scale concert environment and a smaller more intimate DJ stage setting on the beachfront portion of the property. This event will feature state of the art lighting and soundsystems as well as some very interesting thematic décor.
The Festival’s Saturday night headliner is none other than E-40, is a rapper, entrepreneur, and investor from Vallejo, California. E-40 is a founding member of the rap group The Click, and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. He has released over ten albums, appeared on numerous movie soundtracks, and has also done guest appearances on a host of other rap albums. Initially an underground artist, his 1995 solo album In a Major Way opened him up to a wider audience. Beginning in 1998, he began collaborating with more mainstream rappers outside of the Bay Area. He rose to even higher mainstream popularity in 2006 with his single Tell Me When to Go, which was produced by Lil Jon.
Other Festival performers include a cavalcade of well-known DJs including; Mux Mool, DJG, Jantsen, Hellfire Machina, Stagga, Bil Bless, DJUNYA, The Widdler and many more to be announced in the coming weeks. There will also be a handful of surprise guests that will not even be announced until the event itself, a trademark of past MalLabel and Hellafante promoted club parties.
