Mysterious places, innovative ideas, dramatic vistas and bold explorations of color, light – and even time – all these and more are on view at Modernbook Gallery in Palo Alto from March 6th to March 29th.

For the 5th consecutive year, Modernbook Gallery offers fine art photography enthusiasts a chance to catch the work of some of the most talented Bay Area photographers at the start of their careers. This annual event has grown in popularity since its inception in 2005, and has launched several local artists who have gone on to exhibit nationally and internationally, and whose work now commands prices well above their gallery debuts. The show regularly attracts over 500 guests to the opening reception.

As in past years, the artists have been selected by a juried review of their work and are participating in a Stanford Continuing Studies program led by nationally known photographer Brigitte Carnochan and Modernbook Gallery owners Mark Pinsukanjana and Bryan Yedinak.
