** SAFEWORD **
Safeword is the result of a decade-long friendship and a mutual love for music between San Francisco's Clint Stewart and Marc Smith. The duo has worked side by side on music for years, so the eventual pairing was inevitable. Although the two have a great deal of the same musical interests, its the differences that make it. Both Stewart and Smith bring an individual perspective to the studio, which creates an incredibly diverse dynamic ranging from deep lush house to the heavier side of techno and all things in between.
With their foundation laid in thick, heavy drums, lush melodies and hypnotic atmospherics, Safeword’s every cut is a pulsating, cerebral campaign, track-by-track leaving indelible marks on its listeners. It’s their delicate interplay of pleasurable highs and dynamic lows that set this twosome into their own realm of creation.
With their debut EP, “Gaze,” on Paso Music getting high praises, an EP a and single on both Berlin giants Dessous and Poker Flat, as well as an EP on Alland Byallo's forthcoming label, Bad Animal, the duo are primed to start their assault on dancefloors worldwide. Don't forget the Safeword.

** CHRISTINA CHATFIELD**
Christina Chatfield is a techno and house producer and live performer based out of San Francisco, California.
She is an avid user of both hardware and software in the studio, with the use of analog synthesizers giving her music a unique, organic sound that is her own. Her live sets have garnered near-unanimous praise, earning her a residency with San Francisco event producer As You Like It. Working under her own name and also the pseudonym Anitserk, she has released on Detroit label Beretta Grey, Klectik Records, and Racecar Productions.
