The Foothill College Environmental Horticulture & Design Program presents its spring plant sale, with a spotlight on heirloom tomatoes and low-water-use plants, Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the college's horticulture facilities adjacent to Lot 8. Admission is free; parking is $3.The popular fundraiser features heirloom tomato plants, California native and plants, shrubs, perennials, bamboos, decorative grasses, ground covers and more.
Items for sale are first come, first served. Payment must be cash or check; credit cards are not accepted. Bring bags or boxes to transport purchases. Sale proceeds are tax-deductible.
Admission is free; parking is $3. Purchase a required parking permit from dispensers in any student parking lot. Dispensers accept one-dollar bills and debit/credit cards. For more information, call (650) 949-7185 or visit foothill.edu.
