Food truck gatherings: not just for dinner anymore. In fact, these restaurants on wheels get back to their lunchtime roots at Foodie Truck Friday, held at the Sunnyvale Fry's Electronics, located deep in the heart of an area chock full of office campuses. Trucks on hand will be Del Popolo, Tacolicious, Sam's Chowder House and Slider Shack, plus dessert truck Twisted Chill. And there's sort of such a thing as a free lunch: the first 300 customers who purchase $10 at Fry's will receive free dishes (up to $10 worth) from the food trucks. (Heather Zimmerman)
