Description
Get to know your local food and wine artisans in the Dogpatch! This walking tour will take you to the factories of four SFMade members: Maison de Monaco, maker of unique preserves made from traditional french recipes; Barbary Brix, craft confectioner of artisanal caramel products; Dandelion Chocolate, bean-to-bar chocolate producer; and Sutton Cellars, a small-batch wine and vermouth maker. Learn how these entrepreneurs got their start, how they stay true to hand-crafted quality while growing their businesses, and what the future holds for them (hint: a chocolate factory and store in the Mission for one of them!) Best of all, you'll get to taste their products and spend an afternoon in one of San Francisco's best new neighborhoods for food. For more info about the companies:
