The Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club will be presenting the Annual Jimmy Green Spey-O-Rama, The World Championship of Spey Casting April 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2011 at the world-renowned casting ponds located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. GGACC is devoted to introducing everyone to fly casting and angling at their historical club and facility. The event is open to the public and admittance is free.Meals are available to the general public at the club for a nominal fee on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Dinner is available on Friday and Saturday. Meals are complimentary to pre-registered exhibitors, demonstrators and competitors.Local and International casting masters will be offering free demonstrations and clinics each day. We will also feature spey casting with both two-hand and single hand rods, and presentations on fly fishing destinations.
Premium Fly-Fishing rod and reel manufacturers will have their products available for you to try out at the casting ponds. The world’s best casters will participate in the Spey Casting Competitions on Saturday and Sunday.
