San Jose industrial metal band Fluxy BoBoo mixes elements of synth-pop, industrial, goth and dissonant '80s metal, with a heavy focus on sex-angry sex, that is.A majority of their songs repeat a single spoken line over a trance-like beat, distorted guitars and keys. One surprising highlight is their cover of "Love is A Battlefield." They've taken an old classic on the trials and tribulations of love and painted it in a much darker, and bitterer light.
