Jordi Gispert was born in 1957 in Barcelona. He studied Fine Art in Barcelona, where he presently lives and works. He has shown his work mainly in Barcelona and through international projects. Mr. Gispert has done performances in public spaces, for example at the headquarters of the Casa Asia in Barcelona. He won the first prize for creativity awarded by the autonomous government in 1990, and has several catalogues published. In 2007 the second part of the Living Landscape project in Barcelona was unveiled. His first exhibition with the invented character of NUSKITO in Piscolabis and the previous year the project Malencolia de Modernitat was developed, producing the catalogue edition in a DVD format.

Established in 1996, the Geras – Tousignant Gallery is known for exhibiting outstanding artists. The Gallery’s representation of art encircles classic, traditional, and contemporary design. The International and American artists we represent are on the cutting edge of their craft, whether it be through paintings, photography, sculpture, fine glass, antique rugs, limited edition art books, 18th – 20th century antiques & art objects. Specializing in Emerging and affordable art. We also offer expert art consultation services for private and corporate clientele, as well as commissioned works.

The mission of The Barrios Trust is to provide financial aid and assistance to non-profit organizations, institutions and individuals. The organization has a primary focus on education, cultural diversity and disadvantaged youth who are seeking education, self-development and skills to enable them to become economically self-sufficient.
