Atlantis Fantasyworld is proud to sponsor the Flashback Films at the Santa Cruz Cinema 9 on Thursdays at 9pm. This week features a screening of the 1974 adaptation of The Great Gatsby. Starring Robert Redford, Mia Farrow, and Bruce Dern, The Great Gatsby tells the story of Nick Carraway, a young Midwesterner now living on Long Island, as he finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. Soon, Nick is drawn into Gatsby's circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy. As a bonus, attendees have the chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Atlantis Fantasyworld if they bring in a ticket stub from any Flashback Film from January 17th through April 25th. The winner will be drawn on May 2nd.
