Description
Contest is open to:Writers of color and/or writers who are members of a community which experiences cultural or socioeconomic disparity and who live in the California SF Bay area who are over the age of 14 years old
What Can Be Entered
1.Original, unpublished material.
2.Fiction or non-fiction, on topics related to living as a person of color, minority culture or socioeconomic distinction in the United States
3.Only one entry per author.
4.Typed, double spaced entries on 8.5x11 sheets. No double sided sheets.
5.Entries should be between 2-5 pages (1,000-2,500 words). Entries must be received by 5:00 on March 1, 2007.
6.Grand prize winner in adult category will receive $250 and other prizes. Grand prize winner in teen category will receive $100 and other prizes.
