Description
Oakland-based artist and poet Stephanie Young comes to the Montalvo Arts Center for a presentation of her current works in progress, as well as curate an evening of poetry on the Lucas Artists Residency hillside. Stephanie Young has published several collections of her poetry, including Picture Palace and Telling the Future Off, and is also the editor of the anthology, Bay Poetics. One of Stephanie's most recent editorial projects is Deep Oakland, a web-based initiative encompassing inter-linked images, text and sound.
