Description
Far different from a sketch class, this course explores the vibrancy of drawing the human figure and the immediacy of response to visual impressions. Drawing with charcoal and pastel in an evolving series of encounters with line, value and space, participants develop compositional awareness and vitality. Sensitivity to gesture and movement at the intersection between the observer and the observed will open pathways to an intuitive command of visual expression. Models will be present throughout.4 Sessions/Meets Thursdays: July 12th, 19th, 26th & August 2nd
