Lead Guitar/Vocalist Gardner Fenton Goetze recalls the moment of conception of his alias “Fenton Coolfoot”. Riding on a tour bus with Steel Pulse in Italy , the Tuscan countryside pulled the idea out of his mind. An animated, Funk-Soul-Reggae-Rock show lucidly producing a borderless, bad-ass, live-music theater. The idea bounced around the bus and a few years later, native Funkateers from San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Marin County go Head to Head in High Quality HD Music production. Reggae-rockers, rock-n-roll heaters, crackin drums and harmonic colors, live as the sun and cool as the deep blue sea. A steady vein of early RHCP, Funkadelic, and Dub-Reggae run through the Funk/Rocksteady sound that he calls “Funksteady”.

Fenton has shared the stage with a wealth of Bay Area Bands that exist or have existed over the years including Tropicalia/Salsa/Reggae band Mucho Axe, award-winning SF Latin/Reggae band Manicato,Célia Faussart of Les Nubians, Big Tings!, Gema de los Deseos (cumbia music), The Clean-Up Party Band, Mystic Man and Lakay, Afrorhythm, and the High Lonesome Sound System (country/dub/bluegrass). He has recorded with most of these groups including studio work with the popular Chicago-based Hip-Hop/Group Treehouse. Fenton is well known for his versatilty as a guitarist/ and charisma as a Funkateer/Wild-man. His songwriting is insipred by hard beat,rhythm, soul, good food, pretty girls, and rad shoes, in addition to tales of growing up and partying in the SF Bay Area, from Marin County to Oakland to San Francisco.

The Right Time: made up of the Mighty Jack Of All Trades Drummer and Percussionist Dan Stilwell and Funk-Jazz Bassman Elliot Racine on the low end. Special Guests are slated to Join The Right Time, which gaurantees an original and colorful night of killer Live, Local Independent Rebel Music!!

Guy Fox entered this world at an impressive 635lbs 8oz and has established a following of all-night-dance-enthusiasts and local musicians alike. Through club concerts, house parties, late-night open jam sessions and street performances, they honed their “anyshit-could-happen” style live show. It’s an experience that finds them flirting with a number of genres-rock, funk, soul, indie and world music- whlie keeping their audience glued to the dancefloor.

After 4 months in and out of Tiny Telephone studios in the mission, the band celebrated the release of their debut EP in January 2012 (available for download HERE).

With a versatile lineup consisting of guitars, drums, bass, percussion and horns, Guy Fox will rock a party at the drop of a hat.
