Description
A Night of Bilingual Poetry and Performance to Celebrate Neruda’s 105th Birthday!The Red Poppy Art House and The WORD Party invite you to a fiesta de la poesia—a special night of poetry and performance to celebrate the 105th birthday of Chilean poet and activist Pablo Neruda! The evening will feature readings of Neruda’s poetry in English and Spanish as well as the verse of poets inspired by the humanitarian Nobel Laureate. Festivities will also include a large interactive wall poem on which the poets and audience members can write a line of verse which will be constructed into a poem by night’s end.
