Description
Left Coast Theatre Company presents "Family Programming: An Evening of Short Comedic Plays," written by playwrights from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. "Family Programming" takes a light-hearted, topical, and sometimes provocative look at gay and alternative families. This is the fifth collection of short plays produced by Rodney “Rhoda” Taylor and Joseph Frank, the founders of Left Coast Theatre Company. Their other productions include the popular "Eat Our Shorts" series, which began in 2009 and earned the 2010 San Francisco Fringe Festival’s "Best of Box Office Award" for record ticket sales. The spring 2011 "Eat Our Shorts 3: Large Unit Available" production quickly sold out. The Huffington Post called the sold-out run of "Eat Our Shorts 4: Love and Other Disasters" “one of the funniest evenings of gay theater I've seen in years.” In the Bay Area Reporter, Richard Dodds wrote that "EOS 4" featured playwrights who “use their contributions to play imaginative games with the theatrical form.”More Info
