Description
A free series of hour-long workshops to help parents with common child issues.The first workshop will provide a sugar-savvy diet and discuss the realities of sugar intakes from soda. El Camino Hospital's Paulette Hannah will review the consequences that sugars can have.
The second workshop is with licensed clinical social worker Elizabeth Dixon, who will present strategies to successfully parenting a child with ADHD. Learn the best way to meet a child's needs and uncover the symptoms and behaviors behind children and teens with ADHD.
The final workshop will help parents navigate the food pyramid and keep their family's meals healthy. Registered dietician Jodi Bjurman will discuss how busy families can stay healthy with the help of balanced meals.
