On this day when it is said that you can balance an egg on its end, we will be gathering to find the balance between dark and light ~ night and day, as we celebrate Fall Equinox and Grandmother Spider Woman. As the web is woven and spun for the next turning of the wheel we will give thanks for all that we harvested this Fall. It is time to show our appreciation for the fertility of the Goddess and all that she helps us plant, nourish and grow for ourselves.
Daughters of the Goddess was established on Summer Solstice 1996 by High Priestess Leilani Birely. This Dianic Temple and community is dedicated in the spirit of Aloha to the preservation and perpetuation of multicultural Goddess culture, public ceremony, ritual, and Womyn’s mysteries. Of European and Hawaiian heritage, High Priestess and Kahuna Leilani Birely holds a Master’s Degree in Feminist Spirituality from New College in San Francisco and dances hula with Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu.
