Description
October is Domestic Violence Awareness MonthVictims of violence are traumatized every day. A Safe Place Domestic Violence Program, in partnership with the Institute on Domestic Violence in African American Communities will host a one-day Community Planning and Engagement Session to be held October 31st at the Waterfront Hotel from 9:00am – 4:30pm. Faith-based leaders and domestic violence providers from around the country will present best practices and models utilized successfully in addressing domestic violence within African American communities.
