At the beginning of this year, the U.S. and Israel launched a murderous campaign in Gaza that left over 1,300 Palestinians dead, among them 420 children. After the Zionists were forced to pull back, the United States, working with its regional allies, continued the assault by imposing a vicious blockade on Gaza, cutting off access to food, medicine and construction materials needed to rebuild.In July, a delegation from the U.S. successfully broke the siege and delivered tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical aid to Gaza.
Two ANSWER organizers, Iraq war veteran Michael Prysner and award-winning filmmaker Travis Wilkerson, participated in the Viva Palestina convoy that challenged the blockade. Come hear these organizer speak about their experiences.
