Description
Collaborating with the Women’s building, this event aims to raise awareness to abused and battered women by exploring themes of perseverance and rebirth. The performance will bridge new choreography and improvisation with masterful artist and a warm yet innovative approach to deepening audience engagement. On September 4-6 a thirty member cast will expose the essence of a band of characters, whose hearts unfolds through experiences that are personally individual yet commonly resonant. For the audience, the journey begins as they enter the building with an exhibition of delectable treats for all senses; live music, marco biotic food, and a gallery of visual art, which bring the audience into the labyrinth that is the story of this event. Representative from the women’s building will be on hand with information about services offered for trauma survivors and women’s needs. Part of proceeds from gallery and food will go towards family Ashley Taylor, who life was recently lost.More Info
