Description
Evolution Night Club is putting together a night of rock en Espanol. San Jose soul favorites Sweet HayaH headline, along with ADM, Ayahuasca and Exilio. Sweet HayaH brings an interesting blend of soul/blues/rock and a bit of hip-hop, while ADM is kind of a Spanish-language Depeche Mode with those dark grooving synth lines. They even do a killer Spanish cover of "Enjoy the Silence." Ayahuasca tends more towards straight up rock 'n' roll and Latin pop and mostly cover '80s and '90s hits in both English and Spanish. As for Exilio, well, that'll have to be a surprise because apparently they're too cool even for the Internet. (Stephen Layton)
