Description

An evening of film, photography, and conversation to benefit a youth exchange program between Chilean and U.S. students on Aysén Patagonia’s endangered Río Baker and the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River. Take in the screening of Weston Boyles’ film Los Escualos: Young Chilean Kayakers of Patagonia, enjoy a cocktail reception and slideshow of photos of the region, and hear from environmental leaders about the effects of damming rivers, both locally and abroad. Featuring presentations by Kenneth Brower and Jerry Mander. With support from International Rivers, Patagonia, Inc., and The Patagonian Foundation.
