On behalf of SEEDS Community Resolution Center, we would like to cordially invite you to the upcoming special event, Cultivating Common Ground – Empowering Our Communities through Renewal, on Thursday morning, October 18, 2012. The annual program features a catered breakfast with inspiring keynote speaker and awards presentation in honor of National Conflict Resolution Day.

This year, as SEEDS embraces its own recent changes and transformation, the 4th Annual Cultivating Common Ground event will showcase the spirit of renewal and community resilience that has come to define SEEDS’ long history of success in fostering peace within our diverse communities.

The event will take place at Hs Lordships Restaurant on the beautiful Berkeley Marina. Our keynote speaker this year is Fr. Greg Boyle, SJ, Founder and President of Homeboy Industries and author of "Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion." We will also be honoring three individuals from the community whose work demonstrates a shared commitment to SEEDS vision for peaceful resolution of conflict in Alameda County. This year’s event promises to be every bit as successful as previous years’ in bringing our community together for National Conflict Resolution Day.
